local shops

Default local shops

So im curious, there are hmm 4 shops here in my area and maybe a few more lil access. ones but out of those 4 there is only one i trust and take my bike to.

the others do the ol we ordered it it hasnt came in yet but oh wait it has came in and we sold it to someone else crap and the ol drop it off we will get to it in a year or so, or the ever popular we are just ****** do what we tell ya.

How is it in your area?? same? different?

Yeah, Shinky, I have that same kind of shop in my area. They have messed up about four or five times in a row on LITTLE things. That means I will travel an hour and a half to the next closest store to buy my next bike. I will have to have major things done by them, but will do all of my own maintenance. I don't want them getting any more of my money than I HAVE TO give them.

So Cal is a beautiful thing. There are so many shops that they cannot afford to screw up. It is not 1.5 hours to the next shop, it is 10 mins. They know that people will go elsewhere if they screw around. They are still all expensive though. I think the owners have some kind of agreement going.
