Well you guys know your coppers way better than I ever will so do what's best for you. Over here when you file a legit complaint and they still harass you (or their buddies) there's hell to pay.

Over here no aftermarket can is legal. Usually the only time they'll bust your nuts on that regulation is if you've already pissed them off.

 

Glad to see you got it resolved. I know the local cops around my place like to target certian people. Those with nice cars and/or nice bikes seem to be those they target. I think it is just a stereotype. Some dumbassess that do dumb things on thier bikes or cars give those of us a bad name. The cops might have seen others doing the samething as you but they were reckless and you weren't. It sucks when others ruin things for those that are not in the wrong.

 

the same reason why I got a ticket for noise polution when my neighbor sets off every alarm on my street in the morning. You are young and having fun... by giving you a ticket he has limited your fun by being on the edge of losing your license. They do this on purpose to keep people under 30 under control.

 

I'd let it go. You won you're moral victory. You might run into these guys again.
