Well went and got the m.r.i., yup sure enough torn acl, torn meniscus, surgery to follow soon. The doc wants the rest of my knee healthy before they operate. 3000 miles on a brand new f'in bike, and I'm shut down for most of the summer. Damn.

 

is it an RR? if so you can participate in the CBR loan a bike program, ill drive it while your laid up, and complete regular maintenance.

 

I had an ACL reconstruction a few years back. It's a real bitch for the first 2 months. Now... I'm telling you not to go riding till your doc gives you the ok, but you will understand by means of extreme pain later on.

 

Had the surgery about 2 years ago. Still feels messed up and a small area is still numb[sm=smiley22.gif] Just make sure you go to rehab..as long as you can lift your leg i dont see how it would affect your riding, that is unless you crash on the knee then you're ****ed.

 

Starting at the scar, going towards the outside of the knee ~2 inches? Yeah I think it will be numb forever.
