Oreo - sounds like us... we went a bit more casual but more familiar as a result I feel...
We had a really small ceremony, and then because we're both BBQ fans - had a big bbq cookup. (One beer cooler was strategically placed next to the grill - so we got to meet everyone over grill/drink. I got to man a grill for part of it to satisfy my need to cook... and we just had a really casual day with friends. It was alot cheaper, but more importantly everone was a bit more relaxed and we got to enjoy it more (I think).
My brother went the otherway - very formal, very expensive, but again we had fun. See a theme here? Do what you want, how you want, it is your day and your friends will have fun just being there. Throw away any preconceptions and expectations... that'll be 1/2 the stress you didn't need.
