IT'S ALIVE!!!!
YES!!! IT'S ALIVE!!! I just picked the bike up from the shop today. Laid it down just before I deployed for a year to Iraq. Dropped it off last month when I got back. They called me yesterday and I picked it up today. All repairs have been done, Vortex frame sliders added (thanks to some great information and referrals from this site), and a new paint job to boot!!! I'm excited. I will get some pictures posted soon to share with everyone. Now, all I need is some warm weather...cold and rainy today when I picked it up and had to throw it on a trailer to haul it back to its' parking spot. 
OK, I just had to go on a little shout here to let everyone know that the bike is back!!!
