I went through a broker that set me up with some small insurance co. outa Cali.

I'm only running liability so I could care less about accident costs to me because I'm gonna be paying anyway. It's the other party that I'd want to be sure wouldn't go after me. That's the only reason I have bike ins.

Why do people refer to insurance on sportbikes as "high" then? The numbers you're quoting are very low.. All of the guys I know around home that ride sportbikes actually don't have insurance and they tend to run from the police. I stay away from home though. So I haven't actually heard any of the numbers before. Under 1k a year wouldn't be that much to me... I'm used to 4k a year for different insurances for my vehicles so the numbers I'm hearing from you guys makes me feel l i k e I'm gonna have extra spending money
