Hey guys, how much are you all paying for insurance? I'm quoted at like $130-$140 a month for full coverage wherever I go. I live in Illinois, i'm 18, perfect driving record, ect. Just wondering if anyone my age knows of ways to get that down any? I'm more than willing to pay that, but only if i have to.

It's cheaper if you insure a car and your bike on the same policy- at least with all the quotes I got.
I couldn't afford insurance on just my bike and that's with a perfect driving record..Once I threw my car on the policy, it's now only 73.00 a month, full coverage.

There has been about 10000000 threads done on insurance. All with about the same results. But for your age and if the bike isnt paid for, sounds like a fair quote to me. When I was 18 I was quoted $7000 a year in Florida, yes $7000 and I had no tickets no crashes, nothing. So sounds good to me atleast. But you can do a search to find out also
