I know this is probably putting gas on a fire thats almost out but i seen this and said wow. I know people have the right to say what they want and freedom of speech but there are a cause and effect for everything.
By the way, I know that Imus pretty much offends anybody, even Jews and homosexuals. But, here are a few things he's said (or his show has said) about Black people through the years.
He called Venus and Serena Williams "two booma-chucka, big-butted women"
He also said the Williams Sisters didn't belong in Playboy they belonged in National Geographic.
He called the New York Knicks "chest-bumping pimps"
He referred to PBS anchor Gwen Ifill as a "cleaning lady"
He urged his producer buddy to "make fun of more Negroes"
In 1997, Imus told a "60 Minutes" employee that his program producer was brought on the staff to do "n***er jokes."
Now, do you feel so bad about him being TERMINATED? Alot of big sponsors pulled ad money. american express and proctor and gamble to name a few. That is what really got him fired along with his coworkers saying they didnt want to be associated with him anymore.

i listen to alot of rap and i have for years, the things they say about black women is 100x what imus said, in fact, rappers pioneered the term "hoes" as a generality for all women, if it werent for them no one would say that ****, and you know it, let me quote a few rappers

What i dont understand and maybe someone can explain. what happen to right and wrong. using these words to describe a women are wrong wether rappers or imus says it period. He said it on the radio and it was wrong. why they but they said it before mentality? are we in second grade and can not understand the things he said was wrong and hurtfull? or is it some of you agree with what he is saying and feal that way? whitch is fine by me if you feel that way its your life. but why try and justify it with another persons actions. stealing is wrong selling drugs is wrong wether the government is selling it via the CIA or a crack dealer on the corner is selling it. its all wrong people!!!!

why does him calling those girls "nappy headed hoes" have to be racial ? yea it was offensive and in bad taste but everyone jumped right up and played the race card. cant a white girl be called a "nappy headed ho?" (not that i would do that just trying to make a point) its like imus said" there is a difference between premeditated murder and the gun going off but the end result is still the same" yea he ****ed up he has appologized but its not like he called those girls the "N" word .

td youre assuming white girls cant have nappy hair too!!!! why the discrimination, hahahaha
IMO once people of my generation are the ones controlling things it will get better, my high school was half black half white, with some ghetto *** black people, some rich *** black people, some ghetto *** white people, some trashy white people, alot of really rich white people, and some hillbillys, we all got along fine, in 4 years i cant remember any big race related heat, in pe one day we picked segregated teams just to be funny, each team had a token, it was a huge joke to everyone, and we all had a great time, probably the most fun and memorable thing the whole yea, the teach was real pissed tho, because we couldnt stop laughin and joking, i hope more schools can be like that and just get over it, and laugh and have a good time
