Ok so call me a noob, squid, idiot, stupid loser who should never have bought a bike or what ever you want but I'm proud of myself. Today I just learned counter steering! hahaha I've heard the term before but today I actually learned how it worked on the freeway and all I can say is WOW. I can turn the bike soooooooo easy. I used to try to "body steer" I guess it was called just by leaning and it was so slow and delayed and scary at times. Anyway theres just my rant for the day. lol Now I just have to practice 0-10mph sharp turning. I almost dumped it in the dealer parking lot today I still suck at turning slow I cant turn sharp enough and when I lightly hit the gas the bike just wants to straighten up and stop turning. What I do is give it a little gas then pull the clutch in and make my turn but still not as sharp as I want to be able to. =(

I hate to sound like an ***, but you sound like an accident waiting to happen. You need to find a friend who rides and practice together, or get yourself in a MSF beginner's class ASAP.

I know how to ride and I wanted to take a class but they were all booked up I just mailed in my fall registration on tuesday.

Actually I learned the counter steering very quickly just testing things out when I first started riding. And yes you need to take a course and get a buddy that knows how to ride well yet isnt going to try to play follow the leader with you and make you match his skills on the road.
