I was actually on Shiner Bock #6 when I wrote that. lol..
I haven't thrown any stones in years..... although I remember thinking that their special can lining back in the day didn't make a chit's worth of difference to the taste.

 

same situation here, well mine is 14 years old, but it did sit for 2 years also, and started up after the 2nd try and ran better once the carbs were cleaned out, (several runs up and down the block at my brothers house in NY).

I don't have anything against the "gixxer", just the riders. I have seen more "squids" on hondas and kawasakis and yamahas around here than I have GSXR riders.

 

I fail to see how bashing one particular brand of motorcycle and its riders makes us feel better about our choice to ride hondas. You have my permission to feel great about riding one of the finest motorcycles Japan has produced.
