Seriously, I will NEVER own a GSXR because of the people who ride them and the people who talk about them, really too bad, because I think the bikes are decent and have nothing against just the machine itself. Just a rant.

I WOULD own a gixxer, because Im not simple minded and could give 2 ***** what the next man has......plus some of them look good with certain paint schemes. I have a passion for riding motorcycles<--- key word, that does not boil it down to one type of brand. If there is a damn good deal you would be a fool to pass it up

KEEP IN MIND: those guys that ride those gixxers are not limited to just suzuki's. There are honda, kawasaki, and yamaha riders out there that fit that bill.....

 

Yeah - this guy probably never wears gear and doesn't know how to ride, and just talked about how he can pull 130mph turns and hit 180 on the straights....

Not buying a type of bike because of that sort of nonsense is stupid.

 

-because I got a bike made by Honda 15 years ago that sat for 2+ years with gas and it started on the 2nd try

Maybe it's just where I live, but there are just as many squids on Hondas and Kawasakis that I notice. CBR600RRs are almost as popular for squidding as a GSX-R

My last bike was a 1990 GSX-R750, and I certainly didn't feel like it gave me some magical powers... it was just a bike.
