Well since I love here in cali and the DMV are ****'s about getting your license. i wanted to take the msf course but really didn't wanna drop the 250 bucks. So i decided to set up a ride test here at the local DMV and busted out the wife'spink ninja 250 cleaned the chain and hopped on..

I got to dmv early to practice and there where a few other people trying to do the ride test.. the guy who was getting tested was on a vulcan (crusier bike) and he was weaving thru the cones and doing the circle, But then DMV threw a curve ball, the said okay now go in a straight line and do the circle the other direction, he had a little trouble with that but the test guy cut him some slack because of the bike he was on... then there was a guy there on a zx900 and he couldn't even do the weaving thru cones he kept putting his foot down... LOL but when it cam to me i just put the bike in second and let it pull me around the course he actually laughed because he said most of the time only the 250's pass and my wife passed too she decided the $250 was too much for the msf course and decided to try.. but hey! now i can leagally ride at night WOO HOO!


there was another thing i observed while i was there waiting for the bike to be inspected was the testers had very little leanency for people who didn't have gear on... i had my jacket gloves and an helmet and pants with hightop shoes.. another guy on this gsxr that was there had on pants a sleevless shirt and a helemt with some skater shoes and when he tested he barley went outside of the line when he started the circle and the tester failed him right there... WOW maybe he needs the pink 250 LOL

Congrats, yeah TN is easy to after the written test you ride up the road at 20 then turn around at a resturant and back, by the time i got back she was standing at the door and said go get you lic. changed.
