Vespa this morning [&o]. I dont know if I should admit to this but hec... why not. I left for work this morning and my bike was running a little sluggish. It was really cold this morning and so I just figured it was because the engine hadnt warmed up. When things started getting worse as the engine warmed up, I was getting that nerving feeling that this just wasn't gunna go away. I was about halfway to work when things began to get really bad, I mean that I wasnt able to get 20 mph. The bike felt like it was running outa gas. Sure enough, here comes this little Vespa in the rear view mirror. It was getting bigger and bigger and then this chick sittin straight up with her little open face helmet just whipped into the middle lane and just scooted right on by me.
I figured out what the issue was, the bands on all four carb boots had loosened and was letting air in. Unfortunately I had to pull off the carbs to get to some of the top bands because they just were not reachable with the screw drivers that I had. Tightened them up and I have a new bike!! No more Vespas passin me!!!

 

That sucks man. That's almost as bad as what happened to me last year. I was riding along behind a moped at about 25mph (in a 25 zone) and all of a sudden this moped passes me on the right, IN MY LANE. At first I wasn't sure it had happened, then I just got pissed off.

 

I bet I will find the opposite story on the Vespa forum.....If the criminal has made pictures, you're cooked mate![sm=Flahssssss.gif]
