I still have another 10 months, Im in ASM right now and then Im off to Automotive Technology. Cant really say Im a huge fan of blairsville either... too small and too little to do.

Okay, little update.... after fixing an exhaust leak where my left header meets my h-pipe for the billionth time, Im honestly considering getting rid of the mustang this spring and using the money to buy a bike and, most likely, a cheap honda/acura. Im starting to literally hate the mustang... every time I work on something with it, several complications arise, and Im just flat-out getting tired of it (changed the oil, got p**ed off at the car; installed racing seats with aftermarket seat brackets and still had to modify them, the exhaust was flat-out way more of a PITA than it should have been, etc). I figure I can probably get at least $5k out of it... combined with the money in the bank tax returns, etc., I could easily get a used 600rr (or if I can find one, an rc51) and still have enough money for a 5th gen civic/2nd get integra (or I could just wait until late summer to find a winter beater and hold onto the cash until then).

If you're good with a wrench you can probably do what I did.
I bought my 94 cbr out of the back of a barn, fixed it up and got it running. Paid 1500 for it and I'm sure I could sell it for more than I have in it, which should be under 2 grand. For vehicles my dad and I buy relatively late model Jeep Wranglers that are wrecked and fix them up. I got my 02 wrangler with 12,000 miles on it and fixed it up for a little over half of what you'd expect to pay for the same vehicle at a dealership. So far we've fixed up 3 of them.

Good luck with your bike search

Dude look out there. That bike has been for sale forever. It was available when I was looking for a bike a couple of months ago. At that price it should be long gone. There might be something wrong...
