So I am a EMT for New Mexico. We were deployed to Texas for this so called hurricane. I have been in Texas for the past seven days waiting for this hurricane to hit. Granted I did work in parts of the Texas and Louisiana border to get bed bound pt. out of the way of the hurricane. But after that it has been a sit and wait game. So, as of right now I in San Antonio waiting for redeployment to do whatever. I think what they are worried about is Hurricane Ike. Ike is already pretty strong. I guess its suppose to hit Florida and what not. So hopefully we will be deployed and head towards the East coast. But if anyone has questions or whatever, I am more than willing to answer any questions.

 

Where are you staying here in SA town? I would say lets go ride, if you have your bike, but I am leaving for PA tomorrow morning.

this is why florida sucks. we're always the ones to be bent over like the bitch in prison for 90% of the hurricanes that come through.

 

I tell you what, In Houston right now it's the most pretty day I have seen in the last 5 years. Absolutly wonderful it's 80 and a cool breeze it feels like being in Calafornia, I WISH we had more Hurricans like this!!!!
