Okay, did you start speaking 3rd person or is there someone other than you in the equation?
I understand the frustration - but if you're insured and the bike is obviously registered...
Why are you not out riding again?

Ah ha! I see, don't know how but I missed that... lol.
Well that does suck and to be honest, I kind of went through the same crap last year whenI sold my F4. We took each others word and the facking DOR took 3 months almost to get my title to me. I felt really bad because it's usually one of those things, always 7 days and you have your title.
Of course mine was the DOR and not a finance comapny. Sorry buddy - that sucks.
Good luck, though.

FWIW, and I'm not saying it's the best idea, but I've never had my 929 licensed. Or my F4. Had insurance on both but no plates...
I'm sneaky like ninja.
If you don't know the entire police force though, I probably wouldn't recommend it unless you'd like to get to know them better!

Hell, I'd just keep the bill of sale in my pocket, as long as the tags were good and you had contact info to show your trying to do the right thing and everything else is in order, ins. endorsement so on, I couldn't see a cop being that much of a *****, and thats IF you get pulled over. I had a ride with HSBC and it took a little bit to get the title also. They did send me a release of lien a few weeks before the actual title showed up though.

My only opinion is you as a SELLER are responsible for what you sell. I dont know why someone would have purchased a bike from you in the first place without the lien release card its just to much of a hassle. What is done is done but the buyer should have realised this is going to take a little while before he purchased it. I understand what hes going through though I have been waiting for a title on my bike for over 2 months until I finally took matters into my own hand and borrowed a couple of signatures. But than again I knew what I was getting into the moment I bought the bike.
