One of my instructors was draggin pegs with his freakin Goldwing through the cone weave. I was using my 600rr (that I had owned for about 3 weeks at the time) for the class and my instructor kept telling me to push it harder, even though there was literally 3' of water on the range. Really helped overcome that fear of riding in the rain quickly. [sm=smiley20.gif]
during the msf class they let you use your own personal bike ? where are you located ?
I used my RR but it was the advanced MSF course. I doubt the regular course lets you use your own bike anywhere.

The Basic MSF course i took in Richmond, KY let you use your own bike if you wanted. I'm pretty sure the one down here in AL does too.

out here you can use your own bike for the basic course if its 500cc or less, an older lady brought her vespa for the course.

we had some lady that bought a new shadow but didn't wanna ride it till she took the class.. she dropped her bike 4 times durring the two day class and still passed.. she had to keep filling out those pink papers saying she's ok after each accident...... i'd hate to see her on her new bike at home.
