HOW DO YOU GAMERS FEEL ABOUT THIS

OK, as a former manager at a GameStop, I have to step in.
Yes, we were told by corporate not to pursue individuals that left a game on reserve after a certain period. Plain and simple, if you reserved it, you were guaranteed a copy on the day we received it. If you decided to reserve it and forgot about it, then it is your own fault and you are an idiotic consumer. Can't remember how many times people came in asking to buy a game on the day it came out *Cough GTAIV Cough MARIO KART WII* and we were sold out: that's why there is a reserve system.
And the money just magically disappearing is false. That reserve stays in the system and does not get removed by anyone or anything other than the customer. In my 3 years with EB/Gamestop, NOT ONCE did I ever see a reserve just disappear. Hell, I even had a guy come in 2 years after reserving Madden 06 on regular XBOX get his money back without a problem. He was stationed in Afghanistan for those 2 years. The reserve list SKUs of old games that are DISCONTINUED become blank, and only the stock/SKU number remains, but it is still trackable to find who had what reserved and when and how much. And all of that can be refunded.
It is a business, and it's a business' best interest to be profitable. The business cannot be held responsible for naive/ignorant customers that fail to read the bottom Reserve Policy that is printed on every reserve receipt.
And honestly, it's all you awful Madden fanboys who lose the most on your reserves cause you don't realize it's the same fu(kln& game every year...
Also, I hate GameStop corporate, but I'll only buy my games from my old store because I know I taught them the right and honest way. BestBuy takes your money after 90 days regardless if the title gets delayed. Have fun with that.

Video games now a days are also for the weak minded. When I beat a game on very hard mode now a days I just think "wtf was that...". Back in the day before you could save your game I'd get really pissed off. I think the hardest game I ever played was Super Star Wars on the SNES. I couldn't get past level 2.
All the Halos on legendary, Gears of War, Ghost Recon, various RPGs, All the Call of Duties. Do I need to continue? Back in the day there were such things called "Boss battles" which required the use of "puzzles" or "out of the box thinking" to defeat. T
hahah madden is a fun game, I have never personally owned it. But everytime I play I just pick the skins and run a Fake punt/pass every down sending Portis deep.
The best part is that when Madden says "IT'S A FAKE!!!" he still sounds suprised on the 1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th down

I was the store manager of a game stop for almost 2 years and let me tell you, that company will do anything to take you for everything you have. and they will do it with a huge smile on their face.
on a side note, many employees that dont want to pay full for their game will cash out a "customers" credit, and then use that credit a week later to buy something for themselves.
