More info came out - the 20 year old driver, was driving under suspended license, and turned directly into/in front of the oncoming motorcycle.

this is one of my pet peeves - suspended license and/or no insurance - either way you're not legal to be on the street. Shouldn't have been there at all.

turns out the victim was a cousin to one of my employees. He was only wearing a turtleshell, and had just picked the bike up. Not sure if he was new to riding, but the bike was new to him. hopefully he was having fun until the event.

The dumb *** local newspaper has seen fit to add a few more pics, including one of the body under a sheet - which I think is super low class - but as I mentioned, it's not a high-class publication. I know some of their "journalists" ant they think very highly of themselves, but apparently can't get a gig at anything other than a small town newspaper that has craptastic circulation numbers. ********.
