That F'n blows man. For the life of me I couldn't immagine hitting someone and then running off, what a thoughtless, self-serving POS that guy/girl is. Man, good thing your AD and your hospital care is covered. But still, to get hit and have the jackass drive off, unbelievable.

 

What kind of POS runs off like that? Any chance of finding out who it was???

 

Thanks for all the encouragement guys. Yeah really there's no way to find out who it was, unless the person is really compelled to turn themselves in. I am taking it better than most, at first I was mad at myself because it's just hampering me from PT and I thought it was gonna really screw up my ship date, and push it back even more from what it's already been pushed back, but when I look at the fact that I'm able to come home to my little man and watch sportscenter with him, then I'm really thankful and that my ship date won't be affected, I'm kinda like **** happens, and eventually some terrorist will kill that ****er that hit me, then i'll get to shoot that terrorist Oh happy days.. Well its hours before my surgery gentleman and I getting ready, so i'll talk to you gentleman later. OOH-RAH

 

your girlfriend was on a bike also and didn't at least pursue for the plate number? eh

+1 man, thats exactlly what I thought when I broke my arm this summer. A month off to stay at home and enjoy time with the family and watch PBS with my baby girl. Theres no way that I could do that with vacation time, and so in my eyes it was really worth it.

Im out of surgery now guys. recuperating on the couch. The Dr. said my ankle aligned up perfectly with my leg so they were able to screw it back together. Now I'm just watching tv and drugged up. So hopefully in the next weeks ill be back to doing winter repairs for the bike and PT'ing. I appreciate all the comments guys, such a great community here. The gf wasn't too much worried about the car that hit me rather than my condition since i'm her Super Rob lol. semper Fi men
