Yep, whaddyagonnado - just a **** stirrer but I guess you've disappointed me in the past so maybe we're even...

I was actually just getting to some PM's that I needed for some other stuff and lurked around the site - saw some ignorance so I called some ignorance. I don't see the big deal but whatever.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer, I appreciate the concerns just having a string of **** luck and still doesn't seem the end is near but what the **** ever thats life eh

peace

The history of CBRForum, eh? Hmmmm, as I recollect Amanda was the original Admin with Patrick joining on later. Neonspeed was the first moderator and I was second. We pretty much handled all member issues while Amanda and Patrick handled the bidness end of things.

The goal then, as it is still, was to provide a friendly place where CBR owners (and wannabees) could hang out without fear of flame wars and other bs that so many other bike forums are full of. Site sponsors pay for us to have the privilege to hang out and swap info. Possibly we might actually buy sumpin-sumpin from them to show our appreciation (hint, hint).

I'm just recently back from a year and a half hiatus ... personal sheeyat in my life caused me severe lack-o-timus. I'm back now and we have an excellent crew of Admins and Moderators. Hopefully we will be the guinea pig for some forum upgrades and the downtime and double apostrophe crap will be no more.

Anything else ya wanna know ... just PM me ... however the owner of the site prefers to remain anonymous so that question will not be answered by me or any of the staff [8D]

Stephy Gee is the most senior member. I know of 1/10/2005 who still actively post. I ran up on her uploaded shop manual for GSXR 750 just two days ago at WERA website and shot her e-mail today. chainstretcher is a senior administrator. Who's joined date is way back 11/5/2004 and until recently was in the top 10 posters at the forum and has not actively posted anything since 06. That's a hell of a feat he is probably the granddaddy of the forum

just, Basic Reconnaissance, when I first rolled in the door here
Hey Im pretty old, 2005 baby...

p.s. I'm available for Admin if you guys ever need one more I'd be happy to help.

Definitely a good spot - I would have guessed this place was older, but didn't look. I've been over in the 250 land since early 2000, and I had guessed this place was around at the same time.

Thanks guys - it's been a blast - keep up the great work.
