Game is great! Ive played MGS 1 and 2. But I never played three because I never had a PS2. Is there anything important in the storythat Im missing?

it is very hard to put down. ionly played a lil bit of the first and the third but so far, they do a good job of referring back to the other ones while refreshing your memory andwithout leaving you clueless. so imo i dnt think you're missing anything

I havent played much of the previous versions, but got this one, and it is great. You really dont need to play the past ones, this one does a good job of catching you up. A must have if you have the PS3.

You never played the third one cause you didnt have a PS2 but you played the second one which is for the PS2. Hmmmmmmm..........
Ya, I got it. Its ok so far. Sucks that you play for 5 minutes, then there's a 10 minute cutscene, repeat.
I need to beat the second one. I played thru the tanker mission, but havent finished the sea lab mission.
