I leave mine on during the day and low at night if there is traffic around...it all depends on your personal comfort level I guess....I would much rather be seen then not

During the daytime, I always leave the highbeams on. You won't blind anyone during the day with your high beams.

At night, I ride around with the lowbeams. When I had regular headlights instead of HID's, I used to blip the high beams a couple times when I saw cars at an intersection I was about to cross, just to make sure they see me.

I turn my high's off whenever i ride with other biker's, unless im up front. other then that they are on at all time's. I noticed that whenever i turn them off, people pull out infront of me a whole lot more, and when their on rarely does somebody cut me off. as far as blinding people.....i think its better they have problems not seeing me, then "i diddnt see him officer"....passed ton's of cops never once clicked the high's off...never once did they say **** too me

highs all the time mang!
i aim the high a bit lower so that it doesn't blind anyone.
ride your own ride and you won't have to worry about flashing anyone.

Ya know i could give a **** about oncoming traffic and target fixation.,..i choose to be seen...if my bright light hurts their little eyes..good
Dude...you and your bike probably weigh 600 pounds soaking wet... Unless youlikeplaying chicken with a drunk redneck in a F150 you may want to reconsider this attitude. Trust me, they'll see you. They'llsee that you make it into the weeds for being inconsiderate.

Always on. Especially now that my flush mounts aren't wired for running lights. I aimed the high beam down ever so slightly and have not been flashed.
Regarding flashing at other vehicles when approaching an intersection, I was told by an instuctor when I took the msf course not to do that because it could be interpreted as a signal to proceed.
