Basic fact is almost every year my premium goes down (stayed the same with the ticket). Im talking about my current scooter as an example. It has not increased one penny. I must be an exception to the rule then and you win.

that's becuase rates are calculated on year losses.

insurance companies used the same argument as X did to push seat belt laws in nys. my premium have yet to decrease from these laws and to my knowledge i dont know any one who as seen a reduction in insurance costs directly related to the overall rates going down.

so the whole click it or ticket crap is a load of horse crap just like i think saying well if we dont wear helmets insurance rates will sky rocket becuase you will end up 6 feet under and like i stated its a hell of a lot cheaper to put some on in the dirt then to keep them in a hospital on life support or have massive surgery.

some one posted the average motorcyclist cost 48k im medical bills in 2008 the average funeral cost was 6500 bucks.

Maybe in addition to politics and religion, CBRForum should ban any mention of Guns and Helmet Laws. It seems like we should all just agree to disagree.

I think I am going to make some crabcakes for dinner.

In the end the result is the same, I win.

Since i never post angry, or argue for no reason I win.

Since I walk away from the keyboard with a smile every time, I win.

Since I've been riding off and on all day in the wind, I definitely win.

Live is good.

X I get where you are coming from but I think that it should be your own choice to wear or not wear a helmet and you live with the result if anything happens (if you live that is). I think there are already enough laws about bikes/biking that the less we had the better and no that would not baby anybody to do the right thing but it would force them to smarten the F*** up about motorcycles
You dont though ..the doctors and nurses do, and then the family if you become dead or a vegatable ..

Trouble is kids think they are indestructable and it wont happen to them so we ned the laws to protect them from themselves and the people they hurt .. the laws are for children if you think about it ...

Jules

I called out this statement first ... so I win!! ..lol *sticks out tongue*

I decided against crabcakes. But I do make a great tuna burger.

1 pound fresh tuna - diced, but not too fine
1 egg
a few ounces of chopped olives (nicoise or kalamata)
some capers
basil or dill
lemon juice
acouple ofounces dijon mustard
1/2 cup mayo
some chopped shallots or red onion
sesame seeds
salt
pepper

I fry them in a non stick pan until medium rare.

Hello. You must be new here. Welcome to the OT. [8D]

You got a valid point but the way you worded it only adds fuel to the fire.

p.s. Not only do I recommend wearing a helmet at all times while riding, I highly recommend wearing a helmet while posting or reading the OT.

Thats any forum online now days, "how dare you disagree with me and have a opinion of your own that isn't the same as mine, I hate you now for it and should hurt you cause you don't think like me" hahahahaha I just state my opinion, if someone wants to discuss it fine, if not I just read away, I don't get offended thus I don't care
