Coworker states that Paramount and Dreamworks are going with HD DVD exclusively for the next 18 months.

Blu-ray players on Amazon range from $450-$700
HD DVD players on Amazon range from $320-$600

do you guys remember why vhs beat betamax.......because betamaz wouldnt allow **** on their format........Blu ray has done the same thing, and said we will not allow ****.....HD dvd has said they will allow it......cmon sony, learn from past mistakes....HD DVD will beat you.

Never saw that one...


Wasn't the movie on both sides and you had to flip the disk? Or did the player have lasers on both top and bottom to read the disc?
