I think most likely it is him growing up and realize that though this is a fun job but its still a job. A hardcore rider gets right back out there and races, and just hopes and prays he doesn't go down again enough to really mess things up. Is it possible he is growing up a little and realizing that sometimes its not worth it to race a race or even a season and risk blowing 5 races or the rest of the seasons for the rest of your career.

It will be very difficult for him to to regain his glory days even with the ducs next season. The ducs was ahead in terms of technology last season but not this season.

I'll be at Indy on my Honda, hope he does me proud but if not I'm from Kentucky so it's nice to see someone from here racing in the most elite motorcycle racing in the world.
