while out cruising around today, i passed a GTR Skyline. i broke my neck looking at it and turned around to see where he was parking. i asked him if he'd mind if i got a pic of my RR w/ it and he said "have at it". he told me it is twin turbo and had around 480hp to the wheels. he said he's scared of the car, lol! it was one sexy piece of machinery.

in my area, i have a better chance of seeing a Lambo or a Ferrari, than a brand new Skyline. (i see a few lambos and ferraris on a weekely basis)

So they have finally arrived...

I'm more of a fan of the older R32 and R33 models, (the R34 was overplayed IMO)
But still, that is a hell of a car.

Too bad you have to sell your firstborn, a kidney, and your soul to be able to afford it.

he said MSRP was only 70k. now, yes thats ALOT of money but i was expecting much more.

 

The Skyline is really not a pretty car is it? If it were slow, would anyone think it was sexy? But, with all that said,I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.

 

Why were you expecting more? Its not an exotic and its not a high performance german car. I would have popped a boner if you would have had a picture with the new ZR-1....GTRs i'm sad to say don't impress me.
I'm with cat, i'd much rather have your bike instead of that car

 

it was just my assumption, that it would cost more than that.

and its impressed me b/c i've yet to see one in person. i personally think its a kickass looking car, fast or slow.

 

Lol i guess we only have a common taste when it comes to bikes because i think nissans styling has hit its worst with the GTR...its ugly as sin. I mean it may look better in person...but even so, pictures do it no justice. Maybe its the rims that take away from it, who knows...

 

those are sick cars...but I would get something else with that kind of money....
