havoc V2.0
About 6 months ago, I saw the bike I bought new in 94 up for sale again. Looked good and was reasonable, and although I wanted it really badly, I remembered why I sold it, and I much prefer what I bought instead. Not your situation, but I sure do remember that feeling of potential reacquaintance.
I did call up the seller, and he told a story about it's history, that wasn't quite on the mark, and was kind of funny, given what I knew.

i remember why i got rid of my f3's as well.. i love the torque of the 900 series motors. but ill bide my time, get her back in good shape and sell her and hopefully be able to work back up to a 929 by summer =)
Ok, we are talking apples and oranges here (it was an old Magna muscle cruiser) but I got rid of it because it was too LIGHT. So I bought something that weighed about 300 more pounds and was slower. Funny how priorities change.
My old 81 Guzzi Monza is sitting in a friends garage, unregistered & unridden & unloved.
Sold it to him maybe 10 years ago (geez make the 15 years) & he is always trying to sell back to me. She is still in pretty good condition, although the seat is starting to show signs of age & is splitting (no big deal). She looks a little weird compared to to-days modern bikes, but get her into the E's & with the sound of the Conti exhausts reverberating off the sandstone, it's heaven on a stick. I'm always tempted to buy her back, but there is no room for her & I'm already in a long term relationship

Damn pace... I don't think I could pass up on an old bike that I had so much history with if I had the money...
All my old bikes are dirtbikes I beat the crap out of... I know better than to go buying those back...
