On a serious note though other then the underdog winning why was it a good game? The whole game was boring to me compared to the last 5 years this was nothing. I did have a fun drinking game in every time they mentioned tom brady for no reason we had to take a shot of jager which was 3 times and much less then I thought it would be heheh.

Cards steelers was better. Giants pats was way better, colts bears was way better.. Ect ect. Good for the saints but I can't stand their fans and living in houston they never went back home after katrina and they are all loud ********.

I liked that the officiating crew let the game move along w/o calling every little thing. That clock seemed to fly along fast!

You sound pretty sore about your team not winning. Lumping an entire fan base together and calling them all loud ******** is a really ****ty thing to say. That is like saying that all of Houston is a bunch of backwards *** hicks who wear cowboy boots and hats and spit tobacco. I know that is not true and so do you. Every team in the NFL has some douchebag fans, and the Saints are no exception. However, they all have good ones too. As far as Katrina is concerned, how in the Hell can you go home when it isn't there anymore. GFY

Na man you got it all wrong, Colt's arnt my team. Sure lumping ppl into a clump sucks but I havent found it to be wrong yet here in Htown. "oh and we do ALL wear cowboy boots and hats :P* It's been 7 years man. Everythings built back up and im really tired of hearing about it. that storm didnt just hit Louisiana.. it hit many of my friends in Orange Texas and Beaumont too. Dont hear about them getting Fema money or being on Tv for .. well no reason 7 years later.

just my 2cents take it for what it is. 1 opinion on the internet. if you dont like it no one's making you listen to me

My wife is from Louisiana and her family is still there (I'm from Kansas City about 35 years ago). So are several friends and acquaintances and my secretary. They've all been here long before the hurricane and we were a big group rooting for the Saints like crazy. I thought it was a great game. The Saints didn't give Peyton the treatment that Favre or Warner got at least so it was more about skill than punishment. Two perfect quarterbacks, serious defenses, and some cunning. Some seriously close calls (thank goodness for replay), a Cinderella kicker, and the underdog didn't get nervous and screw themselves. Truthfully, rooting aside, I've been watching both teams closely all season. Matched offenses, and the Saints had a little better defense, plus the coaching trickery. I didn't think the Colts should have been favored. That was just experience and the Manning mystique talking I guess.

I have to agree with you. The game was mostly boring. I fell asleep 3rd quarter for about 10 mins till my wife got home and alot of the fans are very annoying.

I was hoping the saints would get smashed so everyone here would just shut up(i can dream). Anyways im really sick of hearing about katrina this katrina that.

You hardly ever hear of the 1987 east TX tornados! 50 tornados in one day in one area. You also hardly ever hear of the 1989 earthquake that shook CA or the 2003 north american blizzard that dropped up to 48 inches of snow some places. Natural events happen everywhere all the time.
In my book if you choose to live below sea level get ready to live with the consequences. I do feel sorry for everyone that lost their homes, lives, etc. But the forecast for katrina was good and people had plenty of time to leave.

Sorry for the rant.
