Default SuperBowl Ads

30 seconds for $2,700,000.

Am I the only one wondering how cheap everything would be if there were no advertising?

In 2006 (2007 isn't in yet), GM spent 1.3 Billion on advertising in the US. They sold about4 millionvehicles here so advertising adds about 325 dollars to the cost of every vehicle sold. GM is, by the way, the heaviest automotive spender in the US.

What? [&:] If there where no ads you would be watching the superbowl on pay-per-view instead of free on tv.
Cars; no ads means less sales means less volume means higher production costs means higher cost to end consumer.
