There's a few scope mounts for the sks. Which do ya'll perfer?

I always planned to get one of those cheap action cover scopes. Kinda stupid cause of how not solid the mount would be, I have a side rail that would work but Ive never seen a siderail to accept my style. Much smaller than the AK style

Dunno how far out you are gonna be shooting with the SKS but the scope mounts that replace the rear cover can't be that accurate. That piece was only ever intended to contain the spring ... so there's a small amount of play in it. Go out 300 yds and that small play could be a 10 foot group. Prolly would be o.k. for under 100 yds but hell, I can already knock a flea off a deers beans with the SKS without the scope at 100 yds.

Right!? Im more focused on getting a scope for my German K98, that thing would be deadly as hell if I scoped it out.
