No packing the bike away for me.... it's been crazy cold and windy the last couple days (single digit wind chills), and I've been sick the last couple days as well, so I haven't been able to ride since new years day. Finally today I was feeling better (last couple days have been HELL), and it was about 65 and sunny, so out to ride I went. I wasn't able to make it on the group ride up into the mountains, since my nose didn't stop running in time. But instead, I rode over to Cycle Gear and bought some oil and an oil filter, then did some exploring on the way back for awile. Found some pretty neat backroads, an old old old one lane all wood covered bridge built in the 1800's that still serves as a traffic bearing bridge (one car at a time!). Did a little more exploring then came home cuz I got hungry. About 150 mi total.... not a ton but more than I've done all week[&:]

You should feel like an idiot for pulling spark plugs and coils out of your bike to begin with. Why would you do that? Did someone gaurantee you that there would not be one single day throughout the winter that would be nice enough to ride? Why would you pull the plugs and coils anyways?

Yeah we got to 45 today. I would have rode, but the 2 foot of snow was melting so fast that it was approx 300% humidity. If I'm lucky, I'll get to ride later in the week when all the snow is gone and the sun is supposed to come out.
