Default getting sick of it all!

between the A-Holes in cars, the cops harassing people that ride, crappy dealership shops, and the incredible amount of squids... I am fed up... thinking about hangin up the helmet, getting rid of the bike and just forgetting it all..... it used to be fun getting out with the friends and riding but lately I feel like crap every time I get on the damn thing..... I have been riding for 20yrs and never thought I would feel this way....
I have to get my bike looked at after one of the *** clowns at the dealership did something to my bike cause ever since I got it back from its 16k tune up it hasn't felt right... bad enough they did something that set off the FI light. instead of bringing it back into the shop they set me up to go back 2 days later then tried to say it was something I did... well had it out with the GM got that squared away and it just feels like its lacking power and its got a lot of vibration that it never had...
WTF where is Customer service? where is the pride in the work??

every honda shop i've been to just disrespects the Honda name..i alwasy feel so unsatisfated dealing with them.. I was also setup when my redlight came up, they said it was my alarm system or something i did..so ihad to take it out and give it to them 3 times (back and forth)and finally they took it and FIXED IT.. it's sad when they are getting paid by Honda and they still wont do the work.. bunch of f***ing d**ks (there is my rant)

it does suck sometimes having a bike, with the a-holes on the road - but hey man, you just got to say "F it".. Hope it's just a phase for ya and your having a bad week..

Hang in there, I don't go to Honda dealers for the same reason. There just to interested in selling the bikes, & servicing them is just viewed as another way of making money. I should not single out Honda dealers alone though, all bike & car dealers all travel the same way. I went to buy some wiper blades for my Nissan the other week & they where about 4 times the amount from a spares shop, so I voted with my wallet & went elsewhere.
Wot I did when I moved up here, is to ask bike other riders where they got there bikes done, eventually I found a guy that rides bikes himself, only does services & repairs, & proud of his rep.
As for the other ********* out there? I've been through the why bother phase myself, but then I thought, well there always going to be there & I love riding to much to let it get to me.
I know how you feel when your pride & joy isn't treated with the same respect you do, you will get passed it, (even if it means having to put a feather up this dealerships bum & contacting the state & maybe country Honda distributor).
Don't go doing anything rash & get rid of your bike..

Out of solidarity, I will sell my bike with 20,000 miles and NO tune-up. F**k the dealer.

NOW IT ALL MAKES SENSE, your sig is purple at the other place.

I thought the similarities were a little too much for just coincidence.

Another reason I do ALL my own work. You can't trust mechanics as far as you can throw them! I have a small shop with great people that I trust tire changes to and THATS IT! As far as the dealership, I didn't trust the guy who sold me the bike, why trust the guy in the back with my baby? I'v got to trust that motorcycle at insainly high rates of speed in life or death situations!
