Time is the only remedy. Just remember, you are running a fever. DO NOT cover yourself becuase you feel cold. You are not cold. You are extremely hot. You need to keep your body cool and take showers as cool as you can stand them. Also, drink a lot of water, especially if you are having a hard time keeping it down. When you are sick it is easy to become dehydrated, especially if you get diarrhea. Try to eat light things. Saltines are good to replenish lost sodium counts. They will also help with your electolyte balance. Also try thermiflu(sp?). I have heard that it helps.

Irarely get sick, but when I do, oooohhhh its a good un'. I work it out, keep myself busy, do lots of chores, yard work ect. Keep hydrated, drink equal parts of gatorade and water, not mixed of course, but one bottle of water for every bottle of gatorade. If I sit around feeling all sick, it just makes it that much worse for me so I keep busy and tough it out. Alternate tylenol and motrin for the fever though.
