Getting pulled over!
#11
Easiest way to get lucky and out of a ticket:
1. Pull over
2. Turn the bike off
3. Stay seated with helmet on until the cops gets to you (make no sudden movements)
4. After being greeted, greet back. Address as "officer"
5. Ask can you get off the bike and remove your helmet.
6. If you keep your paperwork in the trunk, ask to go into your trunk.
7. When told what you are being pulled over with, agree. Never disagree. "I made a mistake, and was speeding officer".
8. Follow all instructions.
9. When he goes to run your name stay put, hands where they can be seen and no sudden movements
10. If you're lucky, he'll give you a warning
11. End with "thank you officer, have a nice day"
12. Last but not least, take off and ride a wheelie.....

Thanks for the stories guys! and thanks for keeping it clean. It's good to see that there are still some responsible riders out there. The reason why i posted this is to see how many people actually be responsible and pull over, cause, the view of us sportbike riders is that we don't care and think we run the streets.

Since I have no intention of hitting speeds so ludicrous that it means instant jail visit / bike impound / license loss, why wouldn't I stop?
I got more than enough cash to cover regular moving violations. And a couple lawyers good enough to own the city if they trump up charges I haven't gotten an actual ticket in 18 or so years, despite getting stopped several times (once having to wait 2-3 minutes for the cop to catch up in my old Celica)
