Default RE: Generation Kill

I saw that its on my Comcast on demand last night and I plan on watching it later this afternoon. If you guys haven't read the book I highly recommend it. What gets on my nerves the most is the majority of the Marines, as well as soldiers, that come back have such a hard time getting treatment or finding a job. I think its BS that a guy thats gone through so much over there and put his *** on the line returns home and has to settle for a low-paying job and little to no assistance. Sorry to rant but it just aggravates the hell out of me that there are people here that laze around all day, dont work and get a handout and you've got a veteran thats only given a pat on the back (if their lucky). Sorry to rant.

ORIGINAL: SpiritRR

That is most kind HC...ancient technology lol. Seriously, it might as well be eight-tracks or something lol.

I am content to wait for its release, however. What kind of production are we talking here? Actual footage? Actors? I have no intel at all about it.

so generation kill is pretty bad ***..pretty funny and ATB realistic right down to the dipping, and mass amounts of boredom. they had the actors as well as the Marines that were portrayed in the mini series at the screening. i was actually introduced to the military advisor who was with 1st and later 2nd recon by my old cadre, it was his plt sgt and 2nd. really cool guy. overall the series kicked *** i saw no down side. can't wait to see the next 5 episodes

its not on ondemand yet. only the character profiles are, im assuming it wont be on ondeman untill after it airs at 9:00 on the 13th. also thats not the mini series for sell for 15 bucks thats the book. AWESOME book. i would expect the mini series to go for no less then 80 bucks especially considering band of brothers is still in that price range
