Yeah.. so dell owns alienware. I dunno if they tossed the customer support on the alienware and threw it in with the same company they use for dell. Ive heard that they have worked out the overheating problems more recently.
Voodoo doesnt sound like a good suggestion. Those things look like theyre mostly concerned with making the notebooks appearance.
Falcon had great computers for a good price 5 years ago but I think theyve taken all of that great publicity and let it hit their pricing.
Really if you dig around through the big names you can find a good deal on a system with pretty good specs. And if you dont mind going with computers that are running older setups, there are a few killler notebooks that came out 6 months ago that Im sure you will be able to find on ebay for a lot less than they retail.
