So I was WAAAY lost in the sticks of Alabama when I first moved here (like 1999ish)... I'm talking serious banjo-playing-redneck-inbred-nowhere kinda lost. I"m riding my red/wht/blue 1993 CBR900RR, wearing full leathers and gear. Worse, I'm about to run the hell out of gas. I come up to some tiny *** cross roads, and thankfully there is a nasty backwoods gas station there. I roll up, and as I'm starting to fill up three little dirty-face barefoot kids come up. The evident leader of this pack looks my ride up and down and in his best bumpkin accented voice he says "What the heck kinda Harley Davidson is that???"

at a red light i had a little girl roll down the window of her moms van and ask if i was her daddy. she looked about 6 years old and her mom looked familiar. so i kindly asked when she was born and her mom ran the light.
