More comfortable to put two feet down if you ask me... I usually put my left down if I feel the need to put one down... but It's nice to put two down. It's also much easier to balance your take off with both down.

In that order. The way some of the people ride here in Philly, you need to know when its time to GTFO of Dodge
I can side with u on the "check their bike" but after that is a friendly head nod, maybe a quick conversation and then im out. BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, actually my answer is not on ur list:

IM LAZY, SO USUALLY I PUT MY KICKSTAND DOWN AND WAIT IF IM AT A LIGHT, IF IM AT A STOP SIGN AND NOBODY IS COMING I TRY TO BALANCE THE BIKE TO A STOP THEN TAKE OFF.....

im more of a both feet down neutral guy. but each situation is a bit different. if its a hill i stay in gear with the foot brake. if its a flat surface its neutral and both feet down. just feel like i balance easier and no worries of an idiot drop. only takes a second to kick it into 1st if need be. but im one for watching the other traffic light and when it turns yellow im already to go for my green.

now ima start noticing this about other riders hahaha

Im 6'4 and all legs on a 600....I have to put both feet down otherwise I can barely balance the thing it is so small underneath me. I wish my bike was a foot higher to be honest.

To all the one footers who say they use one foot to cover the brake so they can flash the brake light, or if they are on a hill: Cant you do this from the front brake lever? Same thing when on a hill, can't you use the front brake? I'm not bashing, just asking. I find it very awkward and uncomfortable to stop on a hill put one foot down, and use the rear brake. Now that I think about it maybe I don't have steep enough hills around me to understand. I'm gonna go find one next time i go out. I bet I'll be thinking about too much and end up dropping it! LOL.

I always put down my left foot first and have my right foot on the rear brake, but if it's a red light or an extended stop (and not on a hill), I will usually end up with both feet down.

It's a matter of giving my wrists a bit of a rest so I can sit upright while still holding my bike in place with the rear brake locked.
