Default First Time at the Track

Well a few of us went to the track today (quarter mile). well anyways i wasnt going to race at first, but since the rest were i decieded to give it a shot for the first time. MY buddy on his '02 F4i has been running for awhile so i started out the day at a 12.8 with a 2.3 60 foot and on my last run i ran which was3 runs.

R/t .394
60 1.986
330 5.129
1/8 7.676
mph 95.66
1000 9.903
1/4 11.823
MPH 115.32

Well anyways it wasn't as good as some twistys, but it was just good to be out on the bike again after winter.

+1 to take it to the track.

Yah, as I found out.... Lauching is a **tch ..lol

My best 60 foot is a 1.99 at 7.8x 101.49mph in the 1/8th.

My buddies '06 636 runs a constant 7.0x at 103- 105mphs in the 1/8th with lowering straps on the front.

Yah I'm too much of a pu**y right now to drop ithigher then5k. But with my +3 sprocket, I definately get light in the front coming outta the hole and when the bike hits 10kin1st under WOT.

Almosthighsided twice last season, when the back tire was too cold and just broke loose right off the tree. And the trackwas around57 degrees.Powersliding is kinda fun if you don't fall [8D].

My goal is to beat or tiemy buddies636s best time of 6.9x in the 1/8. I know it's doable with straps but i've seen a 100% stock '07 600RR run a 7.3x so I have hope that i can pull it off eventually.
