Default First bad EBAY experience.

So I ordered a FE from a company on EBAY. The kit they are selling is from fendereliminators.com. For one thing it took three weeks to get. And "Most" of the parts they sent were from FE.com. But the main tag holder is not. It is a piece of ****. Even the instructions are from FE.com. So I took a pic and sent it to them (bikelitez.com who is also FE.com) asking about it. They sent me an email saying that it is definitely not theirs. Here is the link to the ebay auction that I got it from-http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TODAY.m238.lVI

And this is what they sent-

As you can see they are not the same kit.

And what makes it even better is that they didnt give me all the parts to put it together. I would think I would need4ea 3/4" screws with nuts to put it together. But they sent me 3ea 2' screws with nuts. And the main tag mount is soooooo stupid. You cant hide the wires and the LEDS will not fit right.

i didnt read the auction very well.. but did it say complete assembly is required.. bc if it didnt i would file a claim if they dont give you your money back..

aaaahhhh.. i just got into a dispute with someone about why i was requiring paypal only and wouldnt meet someone halfway with cash for my fairings.. stuff like this is why im a paypal only kinda guy.. that way if something is wrong, i can file a claim and let paypal deal with it.

too many idiots out there..

So what are you going to do? try and make it work? or refund?

No the auction does not say assembly required. But thats not a big deal to me. Its the fact that they are not sending the kit they are selling. They are sending some of there stuff and some of bikelitez stuff. I sent an email to the EBAY seller about the problem and that I want to return it. The guy at Bikelitez also asked who I got it from. So I sent him the EBAY link and the name of the seller. Once I get some more info back Ill figure out what to do. But Im thinking Im going to return it and get the real one from Bikelitez. Just a pain in the *** for something so simple.

I'm still waiting for Paypal to finish my claim about the guy who sold me a gas tank with rust in it when the auction said NO RUST.

I know.. i sold an iPhone my friend got for xmas.. it was still sealed in the box, the lady pays for the "buy it now" <mind you she never asked any questions>

The lady files a claim with Paypal claiming she wants a refund bc i didnt tell her she had to get a new contract with AT&T, and that the phone wont take SIM cards <----duh?

So at this point i tell her im not selling svc.. just a phone and im sorry but i cant be responsible for the rules your cell provider has in place. 45 days go by before paypal settles it in my favor..

I EVEN OFFERED A REFUND... and told her that the serial numbers had to match.. (the one i sent her has to be the one returned) bc i had a feeling she was trying to send me an older iphone back..

ever since that msg i never heard back from her and it took me 2 months to get paid by paypal while that donkey had her phone the whole time..

I hope that phone gives her a big ***** tumor on her ear. Stupid/scandalous people drive me nuts... Whatever happened to the days of honest business...

i guess we can blame it on Gore and "his" internet for dumbing us all down.. and making it easier to be taken advantage of.. [sm=rant.gif]

I KNOW!!!! HAHA!!!!

So I just got another email from the guy at bikelitez.com. He said they bought out fendereliminators.com last year. And he said there is a rival company called Fendereliminators.net. And its so funny because everyone uses the same pics that say FE.com. Any way... I found the pic of the kit they sent me. Its from FE.NET. Its a Triumph 675 race kit.
http://www.fendereliminators.net/1998100.html
The kit I should of got is the same one in all the pics, from ebay to FE.COM to FE.NET. So I figure they sent me the wrong one with the right instructions. This has been so confusing. All I wanted was my stupid FE!!! HAHA!!!
