Default finding a second bike...

hay guys. i've been toying with the idea of getting a second bike to use basically as a thrasher, something to practice on, at the track, some stunts, just something that i dont care to greatly about.maybe even turn into a streetfighter.

i was thinking maybe if i could buy a bike that was in an accident or off an insurance company or something. anyone know how i would go about doing that? what kind of places should i be looking? as long as the frames straight and it runs, i dont care about history or anything like that. whats a decent price range for an old blade? the 893 in that kind of condition?

thanks for the helpguys, appreciate it.

Get an 01-03 f4i hands down. It's one of the most popular stunt and track bikes of all times. Very easy to find info and parts on. Very cheap and reliable. Look on recycler.com. I saw one that was in perfect condition but since it was stolen and recovered it was given a salvage title and the dude only wanted $2k for it.

Yeah I'd say get an f4i for parts reasons at least. You can pick on up for under $2000 if you look, I have seen them for around $1000, but I don't know how "dirty" it would be if you know what I mean.

that's a good idea. i'm actually looking for a dedicated track bike. a few of my buddies have 01-03 gixxer 600's as track only bikes that they picked up for dirt cheap. my next street bike will most likely be brand new and i don't know if i would take that on the track.

thats a good idea guys, i never thought of that particular bike. i've always been a huge fan of the f4i aswell. if i could find one in that price range, i'd be on it for sure. i dont care how dirty it is :P as long as it runs sweet i'm happy as larry

very good looking and performing bikes as well.

Thanks for the input guys, major help
