I've heard that laugh, and it wasn't even from a child custody situation, i had gotten into a heated argument with the gf's mother and her moms husband about them trying to play God and force an unwanted abortion...the second i told her mother "i thought you were a christian...what happened to "thou shall not kill" she started this menacing laugh that made me want to rip her head off with my bare hands...i know there are good people out there...i'm just surrounded by idiots...what a world we live in

 

And to clear things up...i'm not facing a child custody issue...things seem to be ok right now. I just did some research on the subject "just in case"...and am extremely pissed at what i found...injustice doesn't cut it...

 

Two years ago, I heard on the news where they had a "Fathers rights march" in Columbus Ohio. Never heard any more after that though. I think thats what it will take though....people gathering and marching on our capitol buildings, trying to draw attention to it much the same way women and minorities have in the past.

 

I am a divorced father. For about the first six months of seperation, I gave my money to her directly, every month, for the agreed amount. When we ultimately went through the State, they were looking for six months of money. It tooksome proof of bank records and faxesto get them off my back.I swear to God, I pissed her off once, and she hadthe child support agency review what I was making, and she got more money.Later, I had a driver(male)at work who had sole custody of his son. His ex had not EVER paid him any child support, and he could not get help. Somehow she was just "slipping through the cracks". Bull****. The system blows. From my experience, men havevery little rights.

Wolfy, it is blazes me that you have no say in regard to that child. It sounds like you are still fighting...good for you! If you were a femaleheroin addict,who hadgiven her child up to adoption, but decided you wanted parental rights to help your welfare check, the courts would probably place the child with you. Please become a crackhead, and growa vajayjay. You are running uphill, and I hope you have good stamina. You know how I feel about your situation!!!

 

I figured the few who had took a personal interest in my situation had a reason or a story behind such motivation...sorry that you had to go through that, I'm going to send you a PM, an update on the situation we will say...very little good news if any. But back on the subject...the system is beyond screwed...at least for us men it is non-existent....

 

my mom has been boning my dad for 20 years..they had joint custody but my mom had custodial rights. basicly what u were talking about with joint one parent (nott necesarily the female but generally) has the right to make all decisions. now my mom got married when i was 3 to an awesome guy like a 2nd dad to me. but he makes a decent amount of money. now originally custody was every other weekend i went to my pops. but by the time i was 7 i was allowed to choose when i went and i would go pretty much every weekend and spend the majority of my 3months summer vaca with my pops. do you think he was compensated for that? the fact that i spent atleast 1/3 of the year witth him? F*ck no...then when i was 13 i moved in with my pops, but did child support get turned around and sent to him/? no did he try YES..lol i had to make written statements that ilived with him and still nothing changed so he stopped paying..i moved out on my own a little b4 my 17th bday..im now 20..my dad is still paying back shild support from time that i lived with him. they couldnt garnish his wages because he 0wns his own company so they took his license away..he has to drive to make a living so he cut a check got his lic back and just accepted that he is going to be getting f*cked and is still PAYING..f8cking RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
