Wwwait?? So people around your area are more mature than the ones over here? I'm about to pack my bags. Nothing I hate more than the immature "adults" that run around here.

I can only go by what I hear from you guys but you do make your women out to be crazy and slobs a lot ... I have never come across this attitude since before I came here, if anything I could argue the men here in the UK are slobs compared to us gals but I dont really like the whole gender bash thing ..if you guys have such problems with your women why do you stand for it?? ..seriously find better or be alone, alone is far better than with the wrong partner ...

EDIT: I also made that post about what you find good in your partner and you pretty much all had very good things to say, are you focusing on the bad too much here ..have your tolerance levels become somewhat unrealistic??

 

Im not bashing genders. I find everyone my age to be immature as anything... and with me being in college I get to see if full force with the whole being away from home and parents paying for everything. Im sure there are plenty of levelheaded people around but I seem to have a lot of exposure to the immature ones living on a college campus.

My earlier comment was specifically about my ex that was kinda messy..

 

my wife is a clean freak.....if theres 2 toys in the living room(have a 3 y/o daughter) then she freaks out and thiunks her house is a wreck.....I am not a messy person either so its usually not an issue but she goes insane if there are papers on the counter, if my daughter is eating outside the kitchen or my dog puts his bone on the couch.....but it does beat coming home to a mess every night...but for some reason dirty dishes dont bother her....thats one thing that bothers me....I always get on her for not washing her dishes and she always gets on me for leaving the mail on the counter...

 

Go buy your wife flowers today. This is my point, you and your wife have similar expectations about how you want your home. Your daughter will grow up to realize that she can play with her stuff, then she puts it away so she can find it tomorrow to play with it again.

I look at young parents today and so many of them believe that their kids are miracles and that even their poop is amazing. I think I grew up with love also, but it wasn't to the extent that everything I did was percieved as amazing. Maybe that is where the breakdown is along with the whole two parent thing.

omg I just cringe every time my sister asks her three-year-old what she wants, for meals, for play time, asks her to eat a little more before asking if she wants pie or ice cream, jesus monkeyballs.

Now the kid feels entitled to anything, including the right to refuse, and goes ballistic at the mere thought of being denied. No wonder people grow up believing they don't have to clean up after themselves, toasted tuna christ on wheat.
