My wife owns every flat surface in the house, I get the loft and the garage.

 

I thought I was the only one. Our housekeeper earns her money.

 

Clutter is a serious issue, more so than many people think ... its usually a sign of problems elsewhere and is a comfort thing for some!!

Seriously you need to sort this and now, because it can only get worse ... clutter bugs can really drag you down and your daily life can become very irritating.

Sorry, but *some* order is needed to keep peace with your spirit ...

When I was with my Ex...A glass wouldn't be on a counter for less then 30 seconds before it was swept away.

Ha ha...I usually can't find things when I put them away!

I remember as a kid, my room was lucky to have a path to the bed, but if my parents asked me for something, I knew exactly where it was.

 

Seriously Nick, we need order, tidiness and a lack of everyday clutter for peace and calm .. the more you deviate from this the more stressful your life without you even realising it .. serious clutter really drags you down, it affects you spiritually and emotionally too.
People just have too much stuff!!

I agree. I think the reason why people like playing golf is to be able to spend 3 hours on a well manicured lawn. The game sucks, but the grass is wonderful.
