I understand the principle thing ..the reason I said to pay it is due to Adams particular circumstances and stress he already has in his life .. I feel he cant win this and will end up more stressed by fighting it ... the last thing he needs now is a fight and more stress that may well cost more money, this is a negative thing that needs to be done and dusted ASAP ..not dragged out/

Jules
I see what you mean Jules, and it does make good sense in that point. One benifit to fighting would be to get the payment date extended out till probably early-mid summer 2009. Jamie has already plead not guilty to her charge and so that one is already in motion. As for mine, if I cant get it thrown out prior to the court date, it will just be a simple letter sent out with no time lost till the hearing/trial set at a later date.

I really appreciate that you can see how this is so stressfull in my like Jules, Im literally fighting back tears here at work typing this. Even thou I may never meet you, or any of you for that matter, you all here at CBRforum are thought of as true friends.

Ssssh babe ...then you must do what you must do .. my advice is only on the basis that you take the easiest route for you and her just now ..if you think you will be ok going the fighting route then do it .. but any time you think its getting too much drop it and we will be here ..ok??

{{{hugs}}}

Jules

**** that paying them. It's not your typical saturday night out having fun ticket. It should not cost Adam anything except time off from work to personally fight this ticket. Worst case scenario he losses and gets the fine upheld of $200. You tell the judge you need to make payments and he sends you down to the payment office and you tell them all you can pay is $25 bucks a month and they have to accept it..

Hell here is my personall pledge if he goes to court and pleads his case andloses and the fine is $200 bucks I will pay it. The reason is I want to show all the people that said lay down and pay it, there wrong. IM not joking.....

Pay it, Pay it, Pay it.... Sit the **** down and accept all downfalls that come your way is bull****.

Well I don't know about your state. But you might have to pay the court costs, which will be about 130 bucks on top of the 200. First mistake was not asking the cop to escourt you to the hospital. Second mistake was going back after to file a complaint. When ever you accuse a cop, you have to be extremly carefull of what you say. The minute you accepted that your GF wasn't acting properly, you pretty much admited that your guilty.
I know how you feel, I'm right now fighting a bunk ticket, where the officer gave me a failure to produce financial res card. Allmost right outside my house where I had a copy.
It seems in this post 911 world, the cops have a zero tolerance attitude for anything.
In reality your going to need a lawyer to fight this, which is going to cost even more.

The cop would not escort for they were a township PD, going another 20 miles would have been out of their district.
