1.anyone buy a phone new phone on ebay?
2. did you have any problems after you bought it?
My contract with Verizon is up in 3 months but my phone died.

Just make sure the person selling it to you is highly rated. I tend not to trust anybody lower than 99% feedback. However, it'll depend on how many feedback they have.

Bought a 6600 Nokia on e-Bay Uk a couple of years ago
No problems - still use it, mainly for satnav.
(Bought the same phone for the wife locally, damn thing was always giving her problems)
e-Bay's OK - just read the descriptions carefully - you get what you pay for.

probably, I get pretty good coverage at home with them.

 

I have bought 1, a refurb, and it worked good
I use verizon also, just make sure you geta verizon phone or it wont work. Some people try to sell and say it works but if it doesnt have the verizon stamp then its not going to work

 

I check craigslist if you can afford to not extend your contract. You being out of contract gives you a one up on them I fell like.

 

I bought a few phones off of ebay. Great prices and I have had zero problems out of the phones.
