Default Dumb things done with your keys

Cause its been raining here, I've been taking the cage to work. But hurray! The weather is supposed to clear tomorrow. In preparation, I went out to the driveway where my bike is locked and put it on the battery tender. Locked the gate and went into the house. Went to put my keys up so I won't have to look for them in the morning and.... Realized they're still hanging from the undertail behind the now locked gate. The key for which is on that keyring

So I have to wait for the only other person that has a key, the maintenance man for the apartments, to come home (which he doesn't always do since he has another house). Or gonna have to climb out my bedroom window, drop down into the driveway and toss the key over the fence to my girlfriend to free me

I went out the window. After being off the bike from last Saturday, I wasn't taking the chance of missing today.

And it felt great!

thats funny....

the other day I rode the bike to work (downtown STL) and I couldnt find those damn keys anywhere...

after seaching high and low went to the bike checking to see if I had dropped them or something and look at the ignition and what do I see......thats right the keys where in the ignition all day long outside no fence in a parking lot that everyone has access to ...

I feel like an idiot but at least she wasnt stolen and I learned a good lesson
