Ok this weekend was extremelly nice. and my friend and i took the bikes out for the day. well we decided to go to Taco Bell (the local biker hang out) and when we got their (this is so stupid) i swear i put the kick stand down. well yah you guessed it, i i didnt put the kick stand down. NOOOOO!!!!! but its ok... it came down really slow only because when it started to fall i couldnt fully stop it so i let it down easy. we were the first ones at taco bell... so right when i got back up and what not all the other bikes came. great timing huh?!

just wanted to know what kind of "dumb" things have you done such as this that you didnt intend to do?

I braked too hard after it rained once at a stop intersection it slid down fast and I slammed my foot down but didnt fall just looked relly goofy lol

was REAL close to forking it up tho!

 

SPEAKIN OF F2's....
I have had a few of those things and those damn fairings that all lock together....I missed the key hole for the ignition switch ( not paying attention I guess) and the flippin thing fell inside the fairing on top of the engine..I had to practically dismantle the thing to get my key back!!! AT THE GROCERY STORE SINCE I HAD LOCKED THE IGNITION!!
I did learn from my mistake though, I always keep my motorcycle key on its own ring so I dont damage the triple trees by scratching it all to hell; but I now carry a EXTRA key on my other key ring that has my house keys,extra car keys, ect....

When I was in High School I had a Rebel 250 ( I HATED THAT THING!! but mom said I had to learn on something less scary for her and my sake...SMART MOM
Anyway, My friend and I decided to ride to S.F. after work one night, 2 up!! ( no I am not gay!!)
Well he was driving and I was a passenger and somewhere around Davis at Butt-thirty in the morning it stalls out and we coast to the side of the freeway....It is out of gas.
So I tell him to put it on RESERVE....
Well Mr Genius put it on reserve when he filled up thinking it would save gas!!!
I told him it is a RESERVE, not PRESERVE!!!
I made him push it to the gas station as I gave him hell!!

Shortly after getting a Ninja ZX6 in Japan a few years back....I came to a stop sign a "T" section. When I took off to turn right, I overaccelerated and flew straight across the street in the turn. Luckily for me, I didn't panic and put my foot down as the tire rode right in the corner of the curb and instead of me highsiding into the neighbors yard, I recovered and pulled to the side of the road to get myself together. Good thing no one else saw me. LOL
