check out FAST BIKES magazine..... one of there writers had a long termer 848.... he did a lot of work to it too.... those guys dump serious money into their long termers....

Ouch...youre right,too each their own...but theres no denying 748s are classics. Personally i think theyre one of the best looking bikes ever made. Id love one but id probably want it as a second bike.

used ducs arent that much more than your average jap bike unless youre buying like an 07-08+ model than youre talking 5 figures but even then ive seen some in the 7-9 which isnt thaaaat much more than a new 1krr. Theyre just high maintenence and more expensive to own due to the more frequent servicing and parts and such being more expensive and harder to come by.
